About Eco Marine
Eco-Marine believes in using good design for a better future. We aim to help our customers to do what they enjoy, or what they need to do, while also helping the planet.
We use timber from sustainably-managed forests and we use local suppliers as much as possible. Our hulls are built in the UK, using reduced-styrene-content resins. Unlike some other RIB manufacturers, we do not source from Eastern Europe or South Africa, where we may find it difficult to control quality and ensure ethical working practices and fair wages.
In addition to using leading edge design, Eco-Marine attempts to minimise its own carbon footprint. Don’t expect expensive offices or luxury cars – even our towing vehicle has been converted to run on LPG. We’re open to other suggestions from our customers and we are always looking for better ways to run the business.
Eco-Marine is a trading name of Coupland Bell Ltd, an engineering consultancy founded in 1997. Coupland Bell has been involved with innovative design for many years and is an associate member of the British Marine Federation.
